Connecting YouTube

Note

Before you can connect YouTube, you need a YouTube OAuth Client ID. If you haven’t set that up yet, follow the YouTube OAuth setup guide first.

Connecting

1. Open Settings → Connections.
2. Click Connect YouTube.

3. A browser window opens asking you to sign in to Google.
4. Choose the Google account associated with your YouTube channel.
5. Review the permissions — the app only asks for permission to upload videos.
6. Click Allow.

The browser will redirect back to the app and show “Connected.”

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect in the same panel. Your credentials are removed from the app. Videos already uploaded stay on YouTube.

Switching accounts

To switch to a different YouTube channel:

1. Click Disconnect.
2. Click Connect YouTube again.
3. Sign in with the new account.
