App won't start

“App is damaged and can’t be opened” (macOS)

This happens because macOS doesn’t recognize the app’s signature.

Fix:

  1. In Finder, right-click AI Music Video Generator.
  2. Choose Open.
  3. Click Open again in the dialog.

You only need to do this the first time.

If that doesn’t work:

Terminal window
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Music\ Video\ Generator.app

“Windows protected your PC” (Windows)

SmartScreen blocks unsigned apps.

Fix:

  1. Click More info.
  2. Click Run anyway.

App opens but shows a blank window

The bundled backend server may have failed to start.

Try:

  1. Quit the app completely.
  2. Restart it.
  3. If still blank, look for server.log in the app data folder (see file locations) for errors.

App crashes on launch

If the app opens and immediately quits:

  1. On macOS, check Console.app for a crash report filed under “AI Music Video Generator.”
  2. On Windows, check Event Viewer → Windows Logs → Application for error entries.
  3. Open an issue and include the crash log.

Still can’t get it to start?

Try reinstalling:

  1. Quit the app.
  2. Delete it from Applications (macOS) or uninstall it via Settings → Apps (Windows).
  3. Re-download and install the latest version.

Your videos and settings are preserved — they live in the app data folder, not inside the app itself.
