Connecting TikTok

Note

Before you can connect TikTok, you need a TikTok Client Key. If you haven’t set that up yet, follow the TikTok OAuth setup guide first.

Connecting

1. Open Settings → Connections.
2. Click Connect TikTok.
3. A browser window opens asking you to sign in to TikTok.
4. Review the permissions — the app asks for permission to upload videos to your inbox.
5. Click Authorize.

The browser redirects back to the app and shows “Connected.”

Post modes

When you upload a video to TikTok, it can land in one of two places:

• Inbox (default) — video shows up in your TikTok app’s drafts/inbox so you can review and post it manually.
• Direct — video goes live immediately. Requires additional TikTok app approval.

Most people should use Inbox mode — it’s easier to get approved and gives you a chance to review before posting.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect. Your credentials are removed. Videos already uploaded stay on TikTok.
